Established in 1953, the New York Crimson Kings Drum, Fife & Bugle Corps (also known as New York Chinese School Crimson Kings Drum, Fife and Bugle Corps) is not only the oldest Asian-American drum corps on the east coast but also one of the last remaining junior drum corps in New York City. Dedicated to youth development through music and performing arts education, the Chinatown-based Corps engages youths ages 10-22 in music activities such as Sunday instrument lessons, ensemble rehearsals, as well as shows, ceremonies and parades every year throughout the tri-state area. This image features the cover of the Crimson Kings\' program book of their 50th anniversary celebration held September 23, 2000。
